MASH TOWN Starring LEE BRASCO & RAPID

Popped down to MASH clothing store in Oxford St, London where Lee Brasco & Ruff Sqwad producer and emcee Rapid were throwing doing an in-store PA for the masses.
MikilPane, Likkle P and Myself had a go on the Mic like it was a jezzable while DJ Ballistic threw down some grime, dubstep beats for us to spit on.
Highlights were obviously Lee Brasco doing my favourite track of his Credit Crunch & Rapid throwing fire on Go Rapid.

These pictures are from the book Nollywood by Pieter Hugo.
I was walking through west end last night with my brother and he stopped at WATERSTONES book store and was just like ‘Ergh!’

The shots depict Africa, Nigeria in particular as if it were a modern day horror movie in the b-movie format that used to the norm in Hollywood. The images are well taken and blatantly eerie seeing as its taken in a setting we’re all not that used to.

The first image made me jump, not gonna lie! they need to do a Zombie movie set in Africa!

Warner Bros. Pictures is developing a movie around LEGO and its popular building blocks, reports Variety.

Dan and Kevin Hageman are writing the script for the family comedy that will mix live action and animation. The studio is keeping the plot tightly under wraps, but it’s described as an action adventure set in a LEGO world.

Dan Lin (upcoming Shorts and Sherlock Holmes) will produce the movie through his Lin Pictures, which is also behind a Tom and Jerry film that will put the feuding animated characters in a live-action setting.

LEGO sparked to Lin and the Hageman brothers’ embrace of core values LEGO wanted to include in a film, especially “a fun factor, creativity and that imagination has no boundaries,” Lin said (Extract taken from Variety)

The MOBO Awards 2009 Is fast approaching and we thought what better way to commemorate this yers award show by making a LEGO Brick Pendant of the famous MOBO ‘M’ logo.
It currently sits in the MOBO head quarters in London, UK.

LEGO HOUSE…WOW!

Top Gear presenter James May has begun his attempt to build a house entirely out of Lego bricks.

May has vowed to live for a few days in the life-sized house, which comes complete with a working shower and toilet, once it has been completed.

It is being built in the middle of the Denbies Wine Estate, in Dorking, for the BBC series James May’s Toy Stories.

A spokesman for Denbies said hundreds of people had turned up and everyone had a good time helping out.

Some fans queued from 0430 BST to get their hands on one of the 600 tickets that were released, enabling them and a friend to help May build the house.

Each helper had to create full sized bricks out of 272 Lego pieces.

More than three million bricks were delivered to the site last week, but people were still asked to take any unwanted Lego with them.

May said he came up with the idea for the project over a beer with friends.

“Your imagination is always bigger than your stockpile when you’re a kid,” he said.

Caster Semenya South Africa’s 800m Gold winner at the World Athletics Championship has been have found she is a hermaphrodite, an Australian newspaper reported, as a senior official admitted she may not be “100 per cent” female.
“There certainly is evidence Semenya is a hermaphrodite,” the source was quoted as saying.

The IAAF has said Semenya is unlikely to be stripped of her world title earned last month in Berlin, but confirmed four athletes in earlier cases were “asked to stop their career”.

American President, Barack Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 2009. Wow! This dude has to be the worlds near perfect human being based on the back of his previous ‘achievements’ like becoming the 1st ever black president of the worlds most powerful nation and….and….some one help me out here!

I’m one of Obamas biggest fans but I need someone to clarify exactly what it is he has achieved in terms of ‘peace’, the statement which acknowledges him for his;

“extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy”

is a liiiiittle bit too loose a term to mean anything in particular

Yahoo News reports that ‘Obama has called for disarmament and worked to restart the stalled Middle East peace process since taking office in January’.

Work not yet completed but hey, its a start!

I can never hate on the 1st Black President who is half East African and wholeheartly congratulate his award, but even he must be getting tired of being flooded with accolades, one after the other, unessassarily. Or maybe not. My thoughts only.

Walking down backstreets of Oxford Circus with my boy Shades Misfit, his manager Laurence & video director Sheridan, Shades spots an through an office window some dude with what looked like chicken boxes all over his office!

Shades being the intuetive guy he is, gets the guy inviting him inside the office and giving him free sample of a new energy drink!

The rest of us join in taking a few with us and Shades gets the guy to hook him up some more for his uni tour dates! Networking non-stop this Shades guy!

Bare free energy drinks in the office we can even go back their whenever we want. Best things in life are free though init?!

Good day today, had a meeting with Shades the misfit, recording and creative artists about his upcoming ground breaking music video looking to be headed up by Sheridan, director of So Solids new video. Lawrence, Shades manager was at hand as long as Sheridans manager. Popped into PUMA H.Q. and dropped them my LEGO of the PUMA cat which they loved.

The video is blatantly a rip from SCREAM which which was the late great MICHAEL JACKSON’s video featuring Ms Jackson, black and white classic dance floor minimal look and very clean.

The stylist is on point with their Year Zero-esque attire, high shoulder pads and white on metallic look.

As you can imagine i get through a lot of tubs of LEGO doing what I does! I think ive used every single box and tub and put it to good use. But theres always more boxes and tubs to get rid of, so! I thought you know what, let me do something with these spare tubs and boxes i can actually use!

Voila! I put together some old subs wired it up MCGUYVER style and cut out the diameter in the empty LEGO tub
